Literary competition

The “Lo Spaventapasseri”cultural association under the patronage of the Castellar Municipality(CN), for the annual “Festa degli Spaventapasseri”, has for 2018 proclaimed 2018 the third edition of the Literary Contest for pupils in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades of Primary School.

At the conclusion of the e third edition of the Photography Contest, that was held during the Scarecrow event in Castellar-Saluzzo(CN);

the organisation wishes to thank all the participants.

Luciano Pratesi
The main characte was captured in a backlight with effective control of the contrasts, the shape of the image isolates the scarecrow from the context making it iconic and the view from below make theguardian of the harvest appear to dominate..

Smart category winner

Marco Rogato
The composition exploits the potential of the mobile phone providing the viewer with a selfie that gives the scarecrows the centre stage.
